The mission of Prosper United Methodist Preschool (PUMP) is to provide a caring Christian environment that encourages social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth and development which will prepare our students for future learning. It is our philosophy that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploring, and discovery.
We offer 2 programs at P.U.M.P. a Preschool program and a Child’s Day Out program.
- The Preschool program is designed for 3 & 4 year olds. This program allows children to enjoy a variety of experiences in a flexible and loving Christian environment, which will help provide a strong foundation for future learning. These experiences will include creative arts, music, motor-skill activities and story time. We also focus on science, math, computer skills and reading readiness. We offer Chapel, Spanish Music and Computers in the preschool program.
- The Child’s Day Out program is planned to provide loving care and meaningful experiences for children ages 18 months to 3 years of age. We strive to meet the individual needs of each child by offering age appropriate toys and learning centers to help develop self-confidence and esteem, independence and group cooperation, all within a context of Christian nurturing. We also offer Chapel, Spanish and Music in the Child’s Day Out program.
